Children, Young People and Families Worker 

Parish of Hawkwell, Essex  
Hours: Full Time 38 hours per week 

(part-time considered)  
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 
(depending on qualifications and experience)

 Are you passionate about helping children, young people and families encounter Jesus and grow in faith? 

Then the Parish of Hawkwell, an evangelical Anglican parish in South East Essex, are seeking a committed Children, Young People and Families Worker to join our team.

 Based across St Mary's and Emmanuel churches, this role will support and develop ministries including Sunday groups, Messy Church, Tiddlywinks toddler group, youth outreach and school links. 

We are looking for someone with a vibrant Christian faith, experience in children or youth ministry, strong leadership and communication skills, and a heart for outreach and discipleship. A relevant qualification is desirable. book.


Genuine Occupational Requirement

Due to the nature of this role, there is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder be a practising Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

The Parish of Hawkwell is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
