POWERPACK - for Children & Young People

POWERPACK is the name we have given our Children and Young People's activities. Below shows more details of our Sunday sessions and gives a flavour of their content!

We also have outings to places like Thorpe Park and regularly attend the SOLID Festival

Creche

Children up to the age of 3 are very welcome to stay in our morning service. We love having them with us and are not disturbed by a bit of noise! There is a box of 'quiet' toys that can be used within the main church. We also have a creche room at the back at Emmanuel that you can use at any time to sit and play with your child.

Buzzz

Buzzz is aimed at children over 3 up until 8. After the opening part of the Service we go to the Church Hall for more energetic, creative and fun activities. Blaze

Blaze (name chosen by Young People) is our new group for those aged 8 to 11 years.  After the opening part of the Service with the rest of the Church, they go off currently to part of the hall and cover the same topics as Buzzz but in a bit more detail.

Illumin8

Illumin8 is for those aged 10 and up.  After the opening part of the Service with the rest of the Church, we go to another room in the church to have fun and learn about Jesus from the Bible in a way that makes it easier to understand and really relevant to our lives. We finish in time to re-join the main service before the last song.

Sunday Morning at St. Mary's

We welcome young families and there is a box of toys and other items that we supply to keep them entertained.  Our main children's work is at Emmanuel Church, Main Road, Hawkwell, meeting at 11 am.
