Hawkwell Parish has currently achieved the Bronze Award in the "Arocha Eco Church" programme.
We are currently working towards the Silver Award.
In order to achieve this, we have to meet further criteria in the following five categories:
· Worship and teaching
· Management of church buildings
· Management of church land
· Community and global engagement
· Lifestyle
This impacts across our church life, such as including eco tips in our monthly newsletter,repliche orologi allowing some of our land to grow naturally and regularly teaching on the topic.
