Great Big Green Week - 8th - 15th June 2024:
We have the following events going on:
On Sunday 9th June at Emmanuel (address here): Launch of our refill station for bio-D products from the Ethical Superstore. The products we will be including are washing up liquid, toilet cleaner, floor cleaner, laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, and all-purpose surface cleaner.
On Wednesday 12th June at St Marys (address here) at 10.00 am: We will be having a litter pick and tidy up in the grounds.
On Saturday 15th June at Emmanuel at 10.00 am: We will be having grounds tidy up, sowing seeds and filling bird feeders

Hawkwell Parish has currently achieved the Bronze Award in the "Arocha Eco Church" programme.
We are currently working towards the Silver Award.
In order to achieve this, we have to meet further criteria in the following five categories:
· Worship and teaching
· Management of church buildings
· Management of church land
· Community and global engagement
· Lifestyle
This impacts across our church life, such as including eco tips in our monthly newsletter,repliche orologi allowing some of our land to grow naturally and regularly teaching on the topic.
