A number of our men have attended events held by CVM. Whilst it is often an under canvas event there are hotels and guest houses available near by to accomodate those less happy with camping!
The Annual Gathering: TG23 takes place in a field near Swindon on last weekend of June, (23-25 June). You need to pre-order your T-Shirt, with a choice of TWO designs click here for more details: The Gathering 2023
You will be able to arrive from Lunchtime on Friday (SN67QZ will get you close enough to see the ample roadside signage on the A361) at Upper Inglesham, Lynton Farm. The cost is now £139. As there is a pub and you have looks of a callow youth, under 18s are not allowed, you might be asked for ID!
Morning runs, usually before Cockerels have done their thing, quad bikes, zorb football, axe throwing, zip lining, football, chess, darts, wall climbing (why?) and more are the usual pastimes.
Copious food on sale, occasionally including vegetables, ice cream, free tea & coffee 24/7 (one of the things keeping me busy behind the scenes along with lots of dishwashing.)
Amazing talks, testimony, 2500 men being led in worship by Graham Kendrick, inspired by the HS, prayer tent, bible teaching, men coming to salvation: what more could you want?
The theme for Saturday night is "animals"! Come as you are, we're a species, or dress as a Turkey to add to the fun!
